California house in the Texas hill
To create a home in the Texas hill Studio Baxter Design Group inspired beach house Malibu, built in the 1960-ies. Architectural firm Lopez Salas Architects tried to make the house got its own soul, where she managed the natural materials used in construction, to make particularly elegant. Despite a fixed budget managed to make a great emphasis on rich texture and unusual design. In the interior wooden slats, wooden beams and metal air ducts look very balanced and fascinating.
The main living space in the house presents a living room, kitchen, cozy Breakfast nook, dining room. All these areas are combined into a single open space. The lack of walls allowed us to make the interior more expressive.
Located on the lowest level of children’s bedrooms, and on the upper level in a separate wing of the house — luxurious bedrooms. The location of the bedroom is made so as to protect a pleasant rest from the noise in the living room.
White walls, plenty of wood and stone, comfortable and elegant furniture, the neutral colors make the house an ideal place to live. Every detail has been conceived to turn the house into a cozy refuge from the hustle and bustle. And the architects and designers did. From the master bedroom, accessed by spiral staircase. Windows of different shapes and sizes, boasting beautiful views of hills and pool. All living pavilions in the courtyard unites the bridge. This relaxation zone is separated from the house, huge glass walls that do not hide the beauty from the eyes.
It should be noted that the furniture in the project created a timeless rhythm, and she was selected palette of shades inspired by the environment. Every object in the interior combines optimum comfort, modernity and reminds her that in this house you need to relax and unwind.
Pool house as if it flows under the house and in the evening he further underlined by led lighting. An interesting element of the exterior design of the house became a floating roof that allows to fill the inner space lots of natural light.
