Minimalist penthouse apartment in Berlin
Designer Donatella Mustafi (Donatella Mustavic) has breathed new life into the most ordinary of the Berlin penthouse. Now this apartment boasts not only great views of the square Kirchplatz, but also for its unique interiors that are at once striking in their simplicity and luxury. Penthouse with an area of over 220 square meters has a rooftop terrace, which offers charming panoramic views of the surrounding area of Mitte.
The location of the penthouse on the sixth floor of a building provided the high ceilings of four meters. Also the penthouse has a fireplace and access to a lovely protected balcony, which is located on the West side.
Living room of the penthouse is made for maximum space. Minimalist interior contributed to the release of a unique space. Dark wooden floor in perfect harmony with contrasting white walls and ceiling, and bright sofas and armchairs. To make the living area more soft and pleasant, it was decided to use a simple but soft Mat. But the opulence and expressiveness of this part of the penthouse added an imitation animal skin on the sofa and contemporary expressive painting on the wall. Elegant glass front of a fireplace, allowing you to enjoy the view of the fire, spread a rug under the skin of a Zebra. This decision was brought not only a luxury, but added a bit of primitive savagery, that perfectly fit into the surrounding elegance. Dining room and kitchen are an extension of the living room and absolutely nothing more not separated from each other.
From the living room is very bright and long corridor leading to three bedrooms and to the stairs leading to the terrace. The master bedroom has a small but cozy balcony, walk-in closet and private bathroom. We should also mention the gorgeous design of bathrooms where bright marble perfectly complemented the statuette in the Oriental style and graceful flowers in pots.
Neutral color palette on the white background looks very inspiring and sensual. Use pale colors, like redirects attention to a city that is on the outside. Moreover, the designer focused on a minimalist style not only in the interior but also the furniture, decorations and various objects without which can not do housing.
